Goal: To craft an engaging release trailer for a video game
Purpose: Marketing material & media for landing pages
Thought Process: I recorded footage inside Unity, used the game's cinematics and soundtrack, and my narration to paint a narrative of a young naive protector embarking on a grandiose and epic quest. I was balancing a showcase of set pieces and gameplay.
Miscreant Mash Trailer
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve, Unity, OBS Studio
Goal: To craft a chaotic trailer for a video game
Purpose: Portfolio piece & showcasing the game to my class
Thought Process: I used gameplay and several art assets to match the game's chaotic nature by leaning into the arcade feel with quick shots and roster presentations akin to 90s fighting games.
Darkest Abyss Trailer
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve, OBS Studio, Twine, Adobe Photoshop
Goal: To craft an engaging release trailer for a video game
Purpose: Marketing material & media for landing pages
Thought Process: This is the most somber trailer I made for a video game, so I used appropriate music and page turning effects to let players know it's heavily story driven and present the option of choosing different paths.

Dolce Cabello Salon Overview
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve
Goal: To create an overview for a new salon business
Purpose: Marketing material
Thought Process: Dolce Cabello at the time was recently opening and they wanted me to make a video showcasing the location, directions and contact information in an elegant fashion. I recorded everything, worked with the owners on presentation styles, and presented them this.
Dolce Cabello "Dos Equis" Parody Ad
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve
Goal: To create a parody ad of Dos Equis commercials
Purpose: Marketing material
Thought Process: I was instructed to make a parody of Dos Equis commercials by taking the format and applying it to cosmetology, down to the music and sentence structure. The owners wanted to showcase the true prowess of Dolce Cabello in a fun way.
Dolce Cabello "The Hairfather" Parody Ad
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve
Goal: To create a skit and ad using The Godfather as inspiration
Purpose: Marketing material
Thought Process: Though a light hearted skit and ad, I treated this as a film with writing a script, setting up lighting and utilizing standard editing techniques such as L cuts and color correction. The manager was the main actor, and I had to direct him through the film process.

Devil May Cry Anime Opening Edit
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve
Goal: To edit an existing opening scene with different music
Purpose: Portfolio Piece & curiosity
Thought Process: I saw the initial opening for the anime and was initially thrown off by the music choice: Rollin' by Limp Bizkit. I wanted to use the song The Time Has Come from DMC 4, so I heavily spliced the clips to match the tune of the song and tell a story supported by the lyrics.
Secret Levels Fanmade Intro
Programs Used: Davinci Resolve
Goal: To To edit an existing opening scene to articulate a concept
Purpose: Portfolio piece
Thought Process: There was a rejected concept of using the Halo and DOOM franchises in a crossover episode, so I wanted to see what the intro cutscene would look like. I took the intro for Unreal Tournament, edited the text and timed the effects to match the clip.
Playing Dying Light After 10 Years

Goal: To make a montage from a video game session
Purpose: To show my friends a highlight reel of our game session
Thought Process: Dying Light was a game my friends and I played years ago separately and wanted to play together as a group. We were having a blast and I wanted to record and splice together a montage of our session. I experimented with audio and framing to make it funny for us.

Goal: To document the entire journey of this game's development
Purpose: Showcasing to consumers and potential employers our work
Thought Process: There was so much behind the scenes stories I wanted to share, so I interviewed my teammates, spliced their narration, and told a story about the development process. This was the longest project I worked on and helped me hone my interviewing skills.
E3 2022 Parody

Goal: To parody the E3 showcase in my own interpretation
Purpose: Portfolio piece & experimenting with video editing
Thought Process: This video was an excuse to showcase my portfolio in a satirical manner along with trying a new green screen I had. This allowed me to experiment with video editing techniques I couldn't have otherwise and simultaneously advertise my portfolio and skillset to employers.
